Tovarel nodded at the rock that Hinin had indicated. Stepping over the rough object he bent over and wrapped his arms around it as best he could before pulling. To his surprise, the object lifted with some ease as he shifted the weight and then tossed it to the side. "The strength of a dragon indeed..." He laughed to his state ment and examined the large cave they had discovered. Odd markings covered the entrance and interior of the tunnel. He leaped inside and continued to walk, slidin the tips of his fingers across the smooth grooves in the walls.

The next few hours they would walk before seeing the first sign of light at the end of the long carved out entrance to the secret home of all dragons. "Beyond that light is my new family, can you hear them? The soft humming?" He turned to his friend and smiled, "Shall we?"

He nodded and followed through. He was personally a little worried about how they might take a elf entering the most sacred of places to the dragons but then he figured that having a dragon child with him as a companion should take some of the hostility away.

king He nodded and steppes through the exit of one world and the entrance to another. And to amazement he stepped into a vast city, civilization, of hundreads of thousands of dragons that met them with a gaze. A few let a loud humming sound vibrate through the mountains. One in particular approached them and spoke, "I am Skíervonear, Elacka yolva Dotá vrín, and welcome to you young elf. Vu ka v'k kelz v'k vréb wilkröv vosh kömdeck; friend, to us the Dotá." The ancient beast now turned to Tovarel and bowed as all the others had followed in his posture and every dragon began to hum as if they were crying. The sound filled the world around them and shook the earth. Skíervonear raised his head and spoke with an extremely loud roar to overcome the humming, "Dotá vrín, Vu ka tön ö'vgré dvskan, torv töu ö'vgré shínda! Forgive us!" His eyes widened as he looked around, the spectacle he was now part of amazed him. The thousands of dragons bowing, the ancient race that holds power over all, bowing to one child.

Hinin stepped away, as if to fade into the shadow of a great king or a victor. He smiled at this and backed out of the spotlight of his newly found friend. "Congratulations, friend. " He whispered this under his breath, feeling proud to have known him.

Tovarel looked to the elder dragon as they ceased in their massive greeting and the others had scattered. "So what now?" The dragon hummed as they had before and looked to him and his friend who had backed away, "You shall become a Dotá, and then train in our powers. As for our friend the elf, he may do as he pleases. Plenty of deer and other large beast roam these mountains as well as plinth of wooded places and open grounds from training or rest if either pleases." Tovarel nodded, "Sounds good..." He turned to Hinin, "Wha shall you do now?"

He shrugged. "Not sure. I suppose I will again proceed to wonder around. I know enough of the wilderness to survive for a good while. " He chuckled. "Maybe I might even find the elves. " He gave a thumbs up to his friend. "Good luck with your training friend. " With this he turned to walk back out of the tunnel. He made his way out of the tunnel and further up the mountain. He wasn't sure where he was going but he figured that a dragon lair was no place for a elf. He became hungry so he decided to hunt a little. It didn't take long for him to find a deer. He killed it and prepped it for a meal. He then started a fire with some twigs and leaves he found just lying around. He shoved the meat onto one of his swords and cooked the food over the fire. Hinin then smiled as it smelled good. HE remembered tasting the tasteful meat just earlier that day. He looked into the sky, seeing that the sun was starting to set and clouds rolling in. He chewed his meat slowly, savoring the taste every chance he got. "Great delicious meat." He said to himself as he ate. Suddenly, there were a few drops, then a few more and before long, it was raining. The fire went out almost instantly. He hurried to make a shelter. He picked up logs and branches that had fallen a few nights ago. With the logs he jammed them into the dirt, arching them upwards. He tied them together with a rope he always kept on him. He tied the excess rope that was left over to a tree, holding the logs up. He then laid the branches down on the ground, ensuring a dry ground for him to sleep on. He smiled as he removed his cloak and would lay it on top of the logs, further protecting his dryness. He smiled, laying a pile of furs down on top of the branches. He laid down on the furs and smiled at his new house. He had apparently done a perfect job at making this home because he never got so much as a drop of water on him through out the entire night. That night he slept almost restlessly. He had a dream of other elves swarming around him and giving him clothes and food. They welcomed him as their own and he truly felt good. Then suddenly he heard what sounded as a crack of a twig, jolting him awake. When his eyes finally adjusted to the dark, he realized that the sun hadn't come up yet. It was pitch black outside now. He then heard the crack again. Something was snooping around his camp. He sat up and grabbed his blades, prepared for a fight.

The boy was lead from the open area of the place he once stood. He was now walking through a fantastic hall that was carved in such magnificent perfection and lit by trenches on either side that were ignited with a flammable liquid that he could not figure. Holes were in the ceiling and a few ventilated opening in the walls caught Tovarel's interest and he pointed them out, "What are those?" The large old dragon chuckled, "Ah...those are for us to make the halls breath fire." He rose his head to one of the holes and opened his jaw releasing a long hot stream of fire that flooded through the vents in the walls causing that entire section of the hall to burst in glorious red dancing flames. He smiled at the heat and then realized his clothing had been burnt off with the exeption of his chainmail, which started to fall from the straps holding them in place had been burnt. He yelped and covered his groin as the dragon laughed hysterically, "I will teach you to make fine clothing that won't subcome to flame once you have finished your transformation." He finished the laughing sentence with a chuckle and continued walking. "So...Skíervon--" He was suddenly cut off as the dragon suddenly shouted, "Master...I am Master Skíervonear to you...young dragon." He gulped and nodded, slightly afraid at this point. The dragon sighed, "Forgive me, but you must allow yourself to subcome to our culture, become proud Dotá, Tovarel." He nodded, a bit reluctant to continue but he really had no choice to do otherwise.

He got on his feet, hearing the cracks of some unknown foot steps. He was crouched over, preparing to leap at the site of an attack. HE heard another, and another and another then he saw it. His mouth dropped when his eyes finally saw what had stirred him from his sleep. Hinin put his hand over his now open mouth, shocked by what he saw. There, now in front of him, was a sight he hadn't expected to see. There in front of him, was a young elf, maybe a few years older than himself. The elf was wearing fine, leather clothes, crafted to be a uniform of a scout. Hinin didn't know what to say. All he could mutter out was the words "H....Hi." The elf smiled a perfectly chiseled smile. His skin was smooth and looked almost as if it were the most tender thing in the world. It also looked strong in the same sense. He had a very thin jaw line but his body looked stronger than anything Hinin had ever seen before.

The elf held out his hand, motioning for Hinin to take it as he said the words "Hello, Hinin. It has been a very long time. My have you grown." This made Hinin fall backwards on his but. This apparently was funny to the elf as he laughed in a very peaceful golly laugh. His voice seemed as if the Elf were an angel or a higher being of sorts. "Come with me. Leave your things. There won't be any need for them where we are going. " Hinin took the elf's offer. He was lead through the woods in very strange patterns. First they would go right, then left, then right again. Finally, they came to a archway made purely enough out of vines. It was as if they had been grown that way on their own free will. Hinin walked through them and instantly felt calm and happy. Any sleep he wished he had gotten had now vanished. In front of him now, hidden from the world's mind, was a village of elves. The elf looked back to Hinin and smiled. "Welcome home, young Elfling."

About a month and a half after entering a dark chamber that had been know to him as pain; seeing as he transformed in there, and for the firs time was about to exit the dark entrance from where he entered for the first time. He stepped into the light and the other dragons reveled in the glory of the young dragon. Tovarel is about the size of a large horse and brilliant sea green scales protected his new body. He still had the snow white spines along his back and tail that matched the horns on his head and the talons on his paws. Enormous wings mounted on his back and with the grin of a dragon he spread them to reveal the glorious assortment of small colored scales that lines the leather like material that are his wings. He roared with joy for becing a dragon began to please his confidence. The other dragons roared in turn as they greeted him as a true member of their krös.

A few days later he had become accustom to his new form and was about to learn the Dotás art of flight. His master had lead him up to a steep cliff and made a introduction to the art, speaking of tactics and of other things he would need to know before taking a glorious fall and flight. After several hours of instruction, the time had finally come. He stepped to he edge and looked down, his thick claws digging into the rock. Once I jump...I will go and find Hinin! I wish for him to see my new scales and wings, he thought this to himself. He then noticed he could sense him far in the distance, the perk made him chuckle. He finally took a leap from the edge and darted towards the jagged rocks below. Fear filled his soul but quickly subsided when he opened his giant wings, a gust of wind helping to guide him. He roared in joy and then continued to fly, looking for his friend.

During the months, Hinin too, had gone through his own transformation but not slightly or slowly. When he got to the camp, he was introduced to all the villagers. He was told of his mother and father's deaths. The village elder told him of how a group of well trained assassins used dark magic and attacked the elves. Everything seemed ok until they got to his parent's hut. There, they found the hut empty except for the bodies of Hinin's parents. He was also taught of all of the ways and customs of the elves. Sometimes, when he surprised an elf, they spoke a different language that Hinin didn't understand. The elder who had taught him through out the months told him he would understand the language in time. After those long months, he was told that he was finally ready to fully mature into the Elf he was. There was a big ceremony held where there was elven music playing, elven drink which consisted of a combination of mead and herbs that made the drink taste perfect upon his tastes. There was only deer and rabbit served with the exception of all kinds of vegetables and fruits. in the middle of the ceremony, the elder came to a high stage built of wood and raised his hands. "We are all well aware of why we are here. That is all but our young Hinin here. " Everyone laughed and rejoiced then fell silent again. "It is time for the growth process to begin. Hinin please come to the stage. " Hinin blushed, feeling embarrassed and confused that he was put in the spotlight. Slowly, he walked onto the stage, a little reluctant because he was used to hiding in the shadows not standing in the light. The months had changed that some what though. He felt more confident but that lingering feeling was still there. Hinin looked at the elder and his fond teacher. The elder smiled back in the perfect smile all elves had and said "Welcome Hinin. Prepare to grow. " He then held up a goblet full of green water. The water seemed to sparkle and gleam in the lantern's light. It was beautiful but weird that he thought of it that way. "now take this goblet and drink to your growth. "

Hinin smiled and took the goblet. He lifted it high and yelled "Cheers to all. " Everyone joined in cheers, raising their own glasses and cups full of the elven wines and beer. Hinin then put the goblet to his lips and drank it down. As the cool liquid slid down his throat, he felt his skin turn to ice. it was almost too cold but then the pain went away just as quickly as it came. At first nothing happened but then he felt a sudden surge into the fibers of his skin and eyes. He also felt his brain rush with knowledge of the entire elven race. He felt the language rush into his brain as if he had known it all his life but never could speak it. He now felt as if he had officially become one with earth. His eyes changed. His pure black pupil now became white and instead of a circle pupil, it now formed to be a streak. His skin tone lightened and his skin became the same delicate color that all Elves had. His jaw changed to be more structured as well. He smiled, feeling stronger, faster and his senses changed as well. He could now hear birds and knew exactly where they were in the forest. He could hear hundreds of yards away. He could see four times as far as a normal human. His hair grew and inch and his muscle become more lean. He now felt a power rush into his very soul. He didn't know this power was but he knew it wasn't bad. Out of pure instinct, he raised his head to the sky and let out a single note, it was a beautiful song note. From his lips came a blue essence that looked almost light a small cloud but also like the purest water. The essence shout out like a dagger in the night then dissipated in the air. He now looked back to his elder and the elder smiled. "Sho togoa Mi. " He now knew this meant 'We are one.' That night, Hinin tried to sleep but he was told sleep was no longer needed. His body was run by earth's soul now. Despite having been told about this, he still tried to sleep. He felt too awake. Every time he closed his eyes he felt only contentedness and wellness. He decided that he would stay awake now. He decided to try to spar one of the other elves. The weapons they used were wooden staffs. He lost the first round but once he had a hold on his knew abilities, he stood his ground. The two went round and round until the sun now rose. He smiled and came to his elder. "No lana du vada." It meant I must find my own path.

The elder smiled his old perfect smiled and nodded. All he had to say was only this. "Shunada buaka don lada vada Il naka Shelfu." 'Your path is set but do not forget us. I am Shelfu.' With his final good byes, he set off with his new, elven clothes. He wore a tunic that he had made. It was designed perfectly for any type of weather. The shoulders came over the chest in a triangle shape. Sleeves were sewn but only went down to the elbows. this was meant to keep a free movement where it was needed. He wore a belt that had a buckle in the shape of an H. Hinin had made this in the meaning of his name. Hinin. He wore leggings that seemed to hug his muscles perfectly, leaving plenty of room to move. He also wore sandals that wrapped around his ankles. Everything he wore was made specifically for traveling. All of his clothes were made of leather. He had no use for weather protection now though. His skin had a strong resistance to all kinds of weather according to Shelfu. Hinin set out, a perfect set of dual blades in one sheath on his left side. The way they were designed, they could be used as one blade or two. There was an attachment on the handles. He now heard the flap of dragon wings. It brought back memories of his friend Tovarel. He decided to check up on him. He now walked in the direction of where he remembered the lair had been found.

Almost the second Hinin turned around, a horse sized sea green dragon landed infront of him with a loud 'thump' as the ground shook with relation to the sound. The dragon eyed him carefully, "Velzier'akas döthredal, Elf!" He spoke his greeting in the language of his race and them chuckled, "My oh my don't you look strange." He pawed at the ground with his sharp claws, "Vu síthä torv növéz olk ves Gr'röv!" A humming sound erupted from his throat as vibrations filled the area. "I take it that you met your krös? Other of the Elvish breed?" He continued to hum after that sentence and puffed out a few clouds of smoke.

He nodded with a smile. When he spoke, his voice had changed as well. He hadn't noticed it the night before because he was amoungst other elves. His voice had a higher pitch to it now. He said "Celf Hello old friend. I did. I see you have taken your full transformation." He felt weird now speaking to his friend now that so much had happened. "How did it go?"

He shook his head and glared a bit, "O'vg dísvë...great pain." He shivered and his scales seemed to curl outwards to give him a fearsom appearance as a cat would make it's fur stand on end. "This transformation caused me more than a months worth of pain." He sighed, his becoming in the ways of a Dotá was no easy task. It took heavy consequence such as loss of stamina, depression, hopelessness, confusion, anxiety, and more things that made him want to puke the deer he had eaten on the way. He clawed at the ground and started humming with his throat in order to calm himself. "And you?"

He smiled. "Honestly it was hardly any pain at all. At most it was boring at times. I learned the ways of the elves and they taught me of my past. Everything is so beautiful and elegant in the village. When I changed, it was all at once and it only caused a slight fever. It literally happened yesterday. " He chuckled, his laugh seeming more light now. "Do you feel any pain now my friend?"

He stood quiet for a shor period of time as he stared at the dirt he was shifting with his paw, "...Yes, but not of my flesh...if you know my meaning." He sighed and hummed again, trying to regain a balance within his soul, something kept him petrified and it wasn't hard to figure out. "If the dark dragon returns...Dísvë...Krövah o'vg dísvë...I will suffer. I fear he brings evil to my soul." He tried to shake the thoughts with little success. He decided to craft to temporarily distract himself as he did with the steel blade in the cave before they entered the dragon's home. A tree next to him was the victim. He gently sawed as the branches for a more smooth lean figure until just the base of the wood still stood, no leaves, no branches. He then started to carve off the bark and once he had smoothed the interior, he began to shape the figure into what looked like a cross at first but eventually dawned to tue eye as a decorated sword. The hilt was up and Tovarel had carved a pommel and what looked to be a mimicry of wire carved around the hilt. He also made a decorated hand guard with dots around the side of it. Then he made similar markings that curved and dotted into images that were hard to make out but if studied with intelligence would resemble a dragon breathing fire from the hilt and at the tip of the sword that appears to be planted firmly in the ground. After hours of this projec he stepped back with pleasure of the results and hummed to resonate his acceptance of his talon art.

He smiled at the project. "I see you have become very good with your new abilities. " He had been painting during the hours and he had come up with a project of his own. He had just finished painting to pass the time. "This is an elvish painting. " HE said this while holding up his work of art. On the scrap of paper he had pulled from his pouch on his belt was a painting of a realistic angel coming down from heaven. Below the angel, there lay a dragon with all of the intensity of a demon. This dragon wasn't like most dragons he had seen. It was a truly evil being. In between them, lay a elf holding a small little multicolored ball. If someone were to pay close attention to the ball, they would see it was a miniature sized earth.

Tovarel noted the picture and came close, basically sniddingt with his odd nose. "Imteresting piece of work. I mysel prefer to work with physical objects rather than to simply illustrate. Then again...I foul en if I wanted to." He chuckled a this and gazed to the sky as it began to darken. Not only was he day becoming night but more rain approached. He cursed in the Dotá Klírv and then looked to his friend. "Might we find a cave nearby? I wish not to be cold and wet all at once..." He suddenly realized something that made him groan in agony. "Master will be upset I did not return after flight..." He laid down and covered his face with his claws. Whining a bit to himself.

He patted his friend on the back. "It will be ok my friend. We can go there for the night if I am welcome. Lead the way. " He knew he could easily keep up with his friend now that he had the elven blood running through him now.

With this he nodded and expanded his great wings and flapped pushing his large form into the air and leaving a large gust of dirt flying around in his place. After he reached an acceptable altitude he began to fly forwards back to his new home. It took him a few hours to reach the mountains and once he had found the entrance he gently landed next to it and waited for his arrival.

Once The elf had arrived, Tovarel escorted him through the tunnel and back into the open space where his mentor was waiting with obvious anger. Skíervonear demonstrated this by roaring loudly in his face and then scolding him in their native tongue. The young dragon sagged his head and kept his tail tucked between his legs and sat through the lecture. Once that was overwith, they were escorted through one of the many hollow halls dug into the thick rock until they reached one large opening that had other halls leading to other rooms; this was the kind of home the Dotá built, and this one was made specifically for Tovarel. There was an area with preserved meat kept in an odd room enchanted to remain cold, there was a small room with an awful stench that seemed to come from a deep hole in the ground, and finally there was what appeared to be a bedroom. The majority of the ground and walls revealed scorch marks and splotches of blood. The young dragon pretended the blood wasn't there but he scratches at the scorched to see if anything hot remained. Once pleased with it he invited Hinin in. His master had already left, saying his formal farewells to Hinin in the Dotás Klírv. "You can take some pelts I have stored away and I will make my own place to sleep." He puffed a bit of smoke and sat in the corner as a dog would and then began to stare at his guest for some peculiar reason.

He walked in and leaned against a wall. Even this felt strange to him. He couldn't believe so much had changed over night. "What is it Tov?"

(It has been a month, didn't happen overnight.) He shrugged and stood up, walking from the room and vanishing through his home. He came back a few minuets later with a deer in his mouth and around three in his arms; as he was attemption to walk on his hind legs. Once he lost balance in the center of the room and ended up tossing the dead animals at Hinin as he landed back on his front legs with a loud 'boom'. He chuckled with a muffled tint as he still had the deer in his mouth. His jaws suddenly tightened and clamped down on the dead creature. The bones could be heard snapping and a slushing sound came from the meat as he bit the creature clean in half, two thirds fell from his jaw and he continued to chew on the final piece like a dog would try to eat something to big for its muzzle. He eventually finished the large chunk and then laid down, nibbling on one of the other two pieces. Occasionally he would release a jet of flames and set it on fire then take a bite.

He grinned. "So what do we do now?" He yawned a bit, feeling bored. He wasn't tired. He laughed at himself being able to stay up forever. "Oh thats another change you will see tonight. I don't sleep anymore"

"...I can go fair distances without sleep...buni swear if you keep me up once I've tried to sleep..." He blew smoke in his face and a rumbling sound flooded his throat and chest, "I will eat you." He then returned to eating his meat. He looked up at one point to see Hinin was jus standing and he lifted his arm and shoved one of the deer at him, scraping his claws against tue ground while doing so. Once he finished his deer, he decided to drift over to an odd scorched pit in the corner of the room and opened his jaw releasing a loud roar that synchronized with a jet of flames that covered that part of the floor and a bit of the wall. He craddled himself into the glowing crater and blew smoke out his nose with a chuckle. He enjoyed his little burrow bed of coals. Be clawed at the ground some and continued to shoot fire under him with an arch of his neck. He was attempting to bury himself in burning coals, which he nearly did. "I'd ask if you wanted a pit, but it'd probably kill you." He laughed and nosed at the burning soot around him.

He laughed as well. "When you are ready to sleep, I will go explore until it is light out. I have been meaning to see how fast I can go anyway. " He grinned a big perfect smile. He felt good to have perfect skin now. "I see you have become very accustomed to the life of a dragon during our time apart. "

He nodded in response. Honestly, the first flight exhausted him quite a bit, he didn't feel like expression it but he did need to sleep. So he eventually laid his head in the amber pit. Time would go by and he became submerged in slumber. A few hours would pass; Hinin most likely gone for he did not see him in the dim lit cavern. Suddenly, the sound of claws clicking against the floor in the hall leading from outside his home to the room he was currently in. Slowly standing from the mass of coal and ash he listened as the sound grew louder and closer. 'click, click, click, click...; "Who's there!?" He demanded with a hint of fear. "Velzier'akas, Tovarel." Answered the evil voice as a the black demon whom had caused him to become a dragon. He had an evil grin across his scaled muzzle, his teeth blood red. "I told you I would return." A instant of pure dread filled Tovarel's body as he backed himself into a corner, he wouldn't stand a chance against such a large dragon.
"G-go away!" He whimpered as the malevolent creature stepped closer. Tovarel felt pressured and he tried to dash past him once he got too close but the larger dragon bit into his neck causing the youngling to yelp and then tossed him to a wall, his spines breaking the wall as the black dragon pinned him with his massive claws, "Vu zuelváh óv sëhvoosh yolva Dotá!" The dragon puffed smoke into his face as the child whimpered and tried to force himself from the hold, "Vu zuelváh o'vg röth!" The black dragon roared at Tovarel's insult and bit his chest, tearing the bone and causing him to cry out in pain with a very loud roar that shook the entire cavern. The evil eyed dragon released his grip with a growl, "Bah! Next time..." He glared as he retreated to the darkness.

Tovarel was left bleeding were he feel and clawing at the ground. The elder dragon whom had been his mentor had stormed into the room to find the bloody dragon and quickly covered him with pelts of various animals as makeshift gauss. He cursed in his tongue and sat, keeping watch until it seemed safe to leave. Tovarel remained on the ground, passed out.
